Overview

As our first-ever dedicated Product Manager hire, this person will play an influential role in driving product vision and strategy at Clara.

In this role, you will work directly with the Engineering team and cross-functionally with colleagues in the Clinical Operations, Patient Support, Sales, Marketing, and Patient Advocacy departments to guide products from conception to launch by connecting technical and business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of product features and enhancements; constantly refine priorities to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Communicate and manage priorities, requirements, plans, and project status with key stakeholders throughout the organization

  • Collaborate with engineering and design to plan, build, and launch features; facilitate communication, organization, and task management from concept through launch

  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

  • Define success metrics for each initiative and ensure adequate instrumentation, measurement, and analysis to inform product evolution

  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

Requirements 

  • At least 3-4 years of product management experience with software team(s); Engineering, design, or healthcare experience is a plus. 

  • Experience building B2C or B2B end-user products; experience with both is a plus.

  • Experience working on at least one marketplace product

  • Product management experience in an early stage startup environment is a plus

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (such as healthcare, finance, or government) is a plus 

  • Experience influencing product direction and working with multiple stakeholders in tandem

  • Concise and thorough communication skills, both written and oral

  • Experience working with or leading agile teams

  • Drive and passion to understand the healthcare industry and the needs of its patients, advocacy organizations, research sponsors, and research-related healthcare providers
