COVID-19 Symptom Tracker

We are using an app called COVID-19 Symptom Tracker, which was developed by our scientists and engineers and Zoe Global Ltd, to identify risk factors related to COVID-19 in order to set-up a method of daily follow-up for those who at risk, including healthy or infected persons, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We also hope to have some users of the app be healthcare workers, since limited personal protective equipment (PPE) can make these individuals vulnerable to infection and work-stress. Hopefully, what we learn from the app about COVID-19 can be used to prevent the next global outbreak.
About COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus that was first identified during an investigation into an outbreak in Wuhan, China.

Who is this study for?
Study Population Healthy volunteers are eligible for this study
Individuals are encouraged to use the app even if they are feeling well or not experiencing symptoms of COVID 19.
What should I expect?
Participants are asked to download the COVID-19 Symptom Tracker app on their smartphone or other devices. Participants will be asked to provide basic demographic and health data, and whether or not they have received testing for COVID-19 and any results from the testing. The app will also ask participants about their symptoms, treatment, and self-isolation, even if they are healthy. For healthcare workers, the app will also have questions about the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and work-related stress.
